This level of the program incorporates all aspects of the previous levels (Level I, II and III) and carries the student into the "low-light / no-light" environment.  This is a natural progression in training for students who have attended and successfully completed the earlier levels of the program.  It is a very important element in the development of the skills necessary for Officers who will be participating in High Risk Operations.  Many of these High Risk Operations occur in "THE DARK"!  Historically, Officers have been trained predominantly in the daylight hours for a myriad of reasons.  Unfortunately, while training in daylight hours is necessary to initially develop needed skills for these environments, "daylight" training never adequately prepares the Officer for the challenges of operating in the dark!

The topics taught in the Level IV Program not only build upon tactics and techniques learned in the earlier levels, but new topics and information are addressed that pertain specifically to working in the dark.  By participating in this level of our program, the student is afforded the opportunity to revisit tactics learned in earlier levels and is further allowed the opportunity to test his or her skills in the dark.  By applying skills already learned, the student recognizes areas of strength and weakness and is assisted in improving those areas necessary to afford the highest likelihood for safety and success in his or her nighttime operations.

During the Level IV program, the student will be allowed to train with Simunition weapons and ammunition in a variety of structures and outdoors.  The program will incorporate classroom presentations, practical exercises, and scenario based training.  Together these training styles offer a total training program that will enhance the Officer's skills when working in challenging environments  and under stressful conditions.  The student has the opportunity to test concepts, tactics, equipment, and skills in one of the most realistic training programs in existence in America today.
