Recommend that attendees have Gang Investigative experience and or have taken a Basic Criminal Street Gangs course.

 

The Criminal Street Gang Interdiction and InvestigationAdvanced course is designed to go beyond the Criminal Street Gangs course by providing the student officer with the knowledge, skills and tactics that can make any  law enforcement officer more effective in their gang interdiction and investigation efforts, especially against gangs involved in the drug trade.  This course will instruct student officers on a variety of techniques to interdict gang-related crimes and gang-related violence as well as conducting successful gang investigations.

This course is designed for law enforcement officers ONLY.  Police officers, Federal Agents, Corrections Officers, Sheriffs, Parole Officers, Probation Officers, Prosecutors or other law enforcement officers with the need to conduct or become involved in gang interdiction or investigation efforts should attend this class.
