Basic Narcotics Investigator's Course (DEA)

The DEA Basic Drug Investigators Course is designed for officers and detectives recently assigned to a drug unit, who have little experience in narcotics enforcement. This is an eighty hour course, presented by DEA, utilizing hand selected instructors from all over the United States. The courses of instruction include Case Development, Drug Identification, and Undercover Operations, Interview & Interrogation, Title III (Wire taps), Financial and Conspiracy investigations. Also included are two days of surveillance and RAIDS practical exercises. Other topics will include Police Civil Liability, Search & Seizure, Courtroom Testimony and Criminal Interdiction.
