Drug Unit Supervisor

This course is designed to meet the immediate training needs of the newly promoted or newly assigned supervisor of drug law enforcement unit or task force. It presents both fundamental and advanced supervisory concepts, strategies, and techniques.
Drug Unit Supervisor is a 5-day course. Instruction is broken down into the following blocks:
Ethics, beliefs, & values in drug law enforcement, supervising a drug unit: Organizational and management issues, leadership and management principles, supervision of field operations, civil liability issues for the drug unit supervisor and case law update: the top ten precedent setting drug cases.

Russell G. Milan is President and Principal of RRM Training Inc., a Texas based company that specializes in drug law enforcement training. Mr. Milan has twenty-five years of progressive command level experience in law enforcement and criminal justice operations and administration. He has a highly developed expertise in law enforcement training having provided training to more than 30,000 law enforcement officers in 46 states, Canada, and the Bahamas. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, DEA National Drug Academy, and the Advanced Administrative Officers Course, Southern Police Institute. He has a BS in Criminal Justice Administration and a MA in Criminal Justice Management and Administration.
