This 5 day course will teach law enforcement professionals how to collect and analyze a statement and to maximize the opportunity to obtain a confession. This course will teach the following: how to analyze statements that were previously obtained, how to (within 2 hours) obtain 20 statements from suspects/witnesses, analyze for crime scene participation and determine who committed the crime and how to analyze anonymous letters for identification/profiling of the perpetrator(s). This course will instruct the law enforcement professional how to control the interview, acquire additional crime scene information and then guide the subject towards his/her confession. It will also instruct the law enforcement officer how to guide the suspect into drawing the crime scene with their role depicted and learn that a subject will describe by writing/talking what he/she knows about the crime scene and will, inadvertently, insert their role into the crime scene drawings.
